Liam Firmager - Director
Raised in Ireland and Australia, Liam Firmager has been based in Melbourne, Australia for the last 20 years, where he has made music videos, TV commercials, corporates and several short films, as well as longer form projects in both documentary and drama. These include the feature documentary THE LIFE OF GABRIEL GARCIA MORENO (for Ecuadorian TV Broadcaster EST-2013); the rockumentary feature RICKY! THE MOVIE (2010); and the 1-hour drama THE JULIAN PARADOX (2008).
As well as his own films, Liam who also shoots and edits, has also worked extensively with other noted directors such as AFI winners Geoffrey Wright & Frank Howson, as both cinematographer and editor. A former musician himself, Liam, has been working on the SUZI Q project for over 4 years now.
Tait Brady - Producer
Within the Australian film industry for more than 30 years and has expertise in creative
development, marketing, distribution, exhibition, curation and more recently, production. Tait is a former Director of the Melbourne International Film Festival, and General Manager of independent distribution company Palace Films; and has also held significant roles at the FFC (Film FInance Corporation Australia), Screen Australia and The Australian Film Institute among others, including publicist, cinema manager and musician.
His credits as a Producer include the acclaimed drama HEALING (2014), starring Hugo Weaving, the mainstream comedy THE BBQ (2018), sci-fi comedy THE 25th REICH (2012), black comedy-drama BROTHERS’ NEST (2018), and the upcoming feature docs DEFEND CONSERVE PROTECT (2019) and WANITA (2020).
Tait is also the founder/MD of boutique film distribution company LABEL, who will handle the Australian distribution and marketing of the film.
